This Accountant role is a key appointment supporting the company’s strategic growth agenda. The Challenge Reporting to the Head of Compliance and Reporting, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Assist with financial reporting preparation and reporting requirements. Prepare monthly journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules by ensuring appropriate application of accounting standards. Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes. Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate recording of additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation Support external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation Support BAS/GST, sales tax, and other indirect tax returns Identify opportunities to strengthen processes and internal controls Support system enhancements or migrations that impact reporting and compliance The Expertise Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following: You are CA or CPA qualified with 3-5 years’ experience – ideally in a Business Services team at a Mid Tier firm. Alternatively, you may be already working in an industry financial accounting role at a growing business looking for the logical next step.
